we did not do much.we just walked around together with opa.we just wanted to take it easy as the fast few days were amazing yet hectic.
our hearts were a bit heavy as we put a stop to this most amazing journey that took us to four countries.
we came back to our dubai lives filled with gratitude and optimism.it was not just a simple road trip.no, it was more than that.it showed us the power of unity, of perseverance, of patience.
it showed us that yes, life is indeed more colorful when there's a little person who can break your heart just with one woeful look.
we have to be thankful for baby for this trip.she behaved beautifully all throughout the trip.yes, there were sleepless nights when she was teething.yes, there were worried days when she would not eat anything.but these were all cancelled out when we saw how much she enjoyed this trip.
from dancing to oma's classical cd's to running around in siena surrounded by pigeons to simply gazing at something historical in florence.
it was wonderful.
and how could i not forget the greatest travel partner ever? the one who clocked up thousands of kilometers to show his family how amazing his country, ok fine, continent is? the one who could endure an emotional wife and a much, much more emotional toddler? hey mr t, i'm talking to you.
