a milestone!

we started friday with a breakfast at paul's, a french cafe chain near where we live.it's a very popular area where people dress to impress and where we come usually in shorts and slippers.haha!

this place is always full so we decided to go there at 9 when it opened. we had a complet breakfast, but not after taking baby for a stroll in her pram up and down the area.she was acting up, and was in a foul mood the entire day :-(

mr. t is an avid football fan.every chance he gets he watches football games on tv.so what does a girl like me do in a one-tv household? why, look out for the cutest football players, of course.and boy, little did i know that football coaches can be cute as well!

my friends

i'm going through e-mails from my high school friends and i'm just overwhelmed with nostalgia.i love these girls. some of us have known one another for more than twenty years (that shows our age.heehee).these are the people i trust and the ones i know i can rely on. we have been through a lot.boyfriends.schools.jobs.god, they were even there to help when i needed cash.haha!honestly, i'm not really a good friend.i disappear now and then (maybe all the time?)yet despite of all my shortcomings, they are always there.i wish you would also have the kind of friends that i have.i love them and i cannot wait to spend time again with these girls, ay women na pala!

sarai

my family and friends know that i do not cook. simply put, i can cook something very basic (and that's only when i feel like it). luckily, mr. t does not mind that he does most of the cooking at home. heehee. sometimes, we do go out for brunches and dinners. last night we decided to go to sarai, time out dubai's best MENA (middle eastern and north african) for 2009.

gotta live that dream away

when i was young i used to dream that someday i will live near the sea, where i can see turquoise waters and it would calm me down, where i can feel the seawind on my face and it would excite me, where i can taste the tang of the ocean and it would indulge me.

who knows that i would realize that dream a thousand miles away?
