Wonder of the World 3: Amazing Jordan - Petra

My birthday!!!! Please don’t ask about my age, ok? Ok.

We had our breakfast buffet first.

Then, we were all set for the adventure! GPS Check. Music. Check (reggae, U2)

The road going to Petra was amazing. Every minute we would utter, “aww”, “look at that,” then back to “aww’. Repeat.

The good thing about having your own car is having the chance to stop at any significant landmark. We saw this wadi (loose translation: valley, dry riverbed) called wadi mujeb and we knew we just have to stop.

Then we went on this road that was simply breathtaking. You can see valleys and and the Dead Sea, of course from miles and miles.

Some bedouins stay on the lower areas during cooler months.

After these sceneries, the landscape changed to these. Ah, Italy na ba? The sudden change was mindblowing.Haha.

We stopped over a hill, overlooking Wadi Musa, the closest town to Petra, our destination.

Next: Petra, Petra, Petra
