day 22 - a song that you listen to when you’re sad

"landslide" (smashing pumpkins)
(original by fleetwood mac)

makes me want to just bawl my eyes out.everytime i listen to this song, i also remember katipunan and u.p. sunken garden.awww...

lyrics:

I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
'Till the landslide brought me down

Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love
Can the child within my heart rise above
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the seasons of my life~~~
Mmmm mmm mmm

Well, I've been afraid of changing
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too

Well, I've been afraid of changing
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too
Oh I'm getting older too

Awh, take my love, take it down
Awh, Climb a mountain and turn around
And If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide bring it down

And If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide bring it down
Oh the landslide bring it down.

**

this weekend was just a chill-out weekend 'cos next weekend will be an action-packed one(*secret*).we went to this thai restaurant called siamin' at radisson blu for our breakfast brunch (which is now happening regularly on weekends, we noticed.)

silly us, we thought that since it was a thai restaurant, they would serve thai or asian breafast.duh.it was the usual continental breakfast fare.as per mr t's words, "nothing special." sabay irap.hahaha.

baby and i were dressed alike in fuschia tops and denim skirts.and i think her feet are cuter than mine! :-)

we also thought we stressed out baby a bit.we walked from/to our flat to radisson blu under the heat of the sun.before that, we passed by waitrosein dubai marina mall for groceries.baby was already screaming by the time we were about to go home.mr t had to go to the men's room to change her nappies.yes, dubai marina mall has a baby changing room for both the men and the ladies' room.isn't that heaven-sent?
