we stopped at bernina pass, a high mountain pass between italy and switzerland.it was bloody cold.and yes, i was wearing layers of clothes, but i was still wearing sandals! wtf.
we reached tirano in the town of valtellina in italy at dusk.it is a valley in the lombardy region, bordering northern italy and switzerland.
i forgot the name of the hotel that we stayed in.we had a late dinner in their cafe and we had pasta of course!

can i just thank baby for behaving wonderfully during this trip? going on a road trip with a toddler seems to be asking for a lot of inconvenience, but baby was an angel.she had a few moments here and there, but nothing earth-shattering.she was sucking her thumb a lot, though but we just let her do it as it comforts her.
we then got ready to head to the reason why we are on this road trip.on the way to tuscany...next!!!
