christmas and the germans part 2

this is a recap of our 2008 december mini-break in munich.

like i said previously, germany has one of the most romantic and charming christmas celebrations in the world.


we took a mini-road trip and drove to the garmisch side where we saw ettal abbey with its opulent decor.

we went to fuessen which is another charming bavarian town. i like fuessen very, very much.

 then it was up to the "hohes schloss" or the high castle.
