things i'm grateful for: tokyo lovin'

day 7

i actually had a heavy feeling in my heart as it was our last day in japan.

we decided to go to asakusa, one of japan's oldest districts.what better way to end the trip than to go to where the spirit of old edo lives?

we went to the wrong station in narita and took a slow train! arg.we got off at ueno station

we wandered aimlessly and reached asakusa!

we went to kaminarimon, one of the gates to the sensoji (or kannon) temple

nakamise-dori street with shops selling the cutest items!

i liked these buddhist images...

and yet more prettiness...
