things i'm grateful for: tokyo lovin'

day 6

we had to say goodbye to aoyama as our japan trip was drawing to a close, much to my dismay...

anyway...

we booked at ana crowne plaza in narita for our last night in japan as it was conveniently located near the airport.we had around five luggages among us so we did not want to carry all these while hurrying towards the airport.note that there was just actually one luggage for our japan trip.everything else was a carry-over from our philippine trip.hmm...

so, this was the view from our room...a car park and a highway!lol.

we actually decided that it was going to be a rest day for us.i was already feeling sick with my runny nose and sore throat.and it was a good decision as this hotel had this program called "sleep advantage" where they offer items like pillow menu, bath salts, eye masks and teas.

i actually took home some! hehe.

and it was also the first hotel that we went to where baby's crib was ready!

i got to wear my mother-in-law's wedding dress! i figured japan would be the perfect place to wear it 'cos it would look too dressy in some parts of the world and it would look just too 60s in some parts.

so there i was in narita, rockin' this cool, vintage, mini-skirt which my mom-in-law actually wore for her church wedding! how cool.

around nightime we decided to venture out and take the shuttle bus that goes to narita malls.there isn't much to see in narita, anyway.so we were just happy to go out and get and some food.

hotel lobby:

some shop displays in narita mall:

i love muji! it's like ikea, only more morally/environmentally,(non)commercially-conscious, trendier, prettier, in general!

but i love daiso more! hahaha.

we went to a sushi place afterwards.i think i'm swearing off sushi for awhile!hehe.

it was memorable 'cos it was the first time that baby was fed with chopsticks.haha.and she liked it, ha.

before going back to our room, mr t just had to show me this entire floor in the hotel dedicated to...weddings!they had everything.you just have to go around and choose a

photo package

hairstyle

weddings dress - traditional?

or western?

food and drinks?

then go and dress up!

i saw a white limo and a white chapel outside.very convenient, huh.

happy na wedding.

our last day in japan...up next!
