eid mubarak

since it's eid (end of Ramadan) tomorrow, we don't have work starting today until sunday.my husband needs to go to work though.

if i were single, i would have hopped on a plane and go somewhere in southeast asia.really, i used to do this a million years ago.the cities in southeast asia are the easiest choice 'cos i don't require a visa.

there was one time when i got really crazy and i went onboard a plane for jakarta and stayed there only for 24 hours! my colleagues whom i met there thought i was nuts. but i had a grand time!

so as i cannot be reckless anymore, i'm deciding to enjoy all these free time with my baby.

i'm having some last song syndrome with all these nursery rhymes that we've been playing over and over again.the only ones i can remember from grade school were "ba-ba-black sheep," "row, row your boat" and "i'm a little teapot." jeez, i didn't realize how many of them are out there.and that there are grey and brown sheeps also!

i even have some new-found favorites, and believe me, i hear them in my sleep:

yiha!

she'll be coming round the mountain

hurrah, hurrah!

the animals went in two by two

germany is also represented! baby's first cd of nursery rhymes were actually in german.it was a gift from her oma (grandma).
