"enola gay" (omd)
the event: intramurals in our school paranymphus when i was in grade two.jeez, i must had a pretty good life when i was eight years old.i seem to remember a lot of happy memories at this stage in my life.everytime i hear this song, i remember the pom-poms, the short shorts, the sneakers with zippers! haha.
lyrics:
Enola gay, you should have stayed at home yesterday
Aha words can't describe the feeling and the way you lied
These games you play, they're gonna end it more than tears someday
Aha enola gay, it shouldn't ever have to end this way
It's 8:15, and that's the time that it's always been
We got your message on the radio, conditions normal and you're coming home
Enola gay, is mother proud of little boy today
Aha this kiss you give, it's never ever gonna fade away
Enola gay, it shouldn't ever have to end this way
Aha enola gay, it shouldn't fade in our dreams away
It's 8:15, and that's the time that it's always been
We got your message on the radio, conditions normal and you're coming home
Enola gay, is mother proud of little boy today
Aha this kiss you give, it's never ever gonna fade away

baby's scared of #1:
we were watching american idol last thursday. the contestants were singing elvis presley's songs, and big mike was singing "in the ghetto." mr t was trying to sing also, using a deep voice.at the same time he was bottle-feeding baby.and every time he sang using a deep voice, poor baby got startled, then her face started to crumple.haha.it was the first time we saw her got upset over something (aside from the obvious of course like hunger, full nappies, etc.) it was actually funny.

mr t and i had dinner last night at soy, an asian restaurant near our place.we had chow mien, tom yam soup and papaya salad.it was nice.i also love how they described their mocktails. like, "peaches had a fight with the bananas." or something like that.hehe. there were drummers by the walk, the air was cool.and the view was magnificent.
atlantis hotel in the background.
drummers by the covent garden at the walk
