such an auspicious date.i tried to capture the perfect time on the web (with me bugging my husband pa to look for websites showing world clocks), but i was too early to click the camera! 10/10/2010 and 10:10:01 lang tuloy.pwede na :-)

we met with my friends tito m and c at cafe o for dinner.we had our usual set menu.cafe o's interior is full of o-shaped stuff! (and lots of kids playing)



the cafe manager (who was also filipino) gave us complimentary cappucinos afterwards!

and one of the signs that the beach weather is here to stay (at least for the next 3 months) is the opening of the covent garden at the walk! well, this is nowhere as huge as the real covent garden in london, but this one, well, will do.hihi.it's like a mini-mini (as opposed to major-major nyahaha) version of greenhills with stall selling trinkets, maxi dresses, baby stuff, local artwork, etc.



the weather was almost beach-perfect last weekend.so many people trooped to "our beach" :-(



and last saturday, i woke up feeling i wanted to go to the beach.and so i did.at eight o'clock in the morning when half of dubai is still probably asleep from their friday parties.it was good, but i missed the salty smell.i just could not smell a hint of salt in the seabreeze! i really don't know why.in the philippines, you would be meters away from the sea, and you could already smell the saltiness.it's really different from here.ANYWAY, who am i to complain? the sea is just a minute or two away from us, for pete's sake.lovely.
