things i'm grateful for: together in germany part 3

road trip!

we took off from munich, praying and hoping baby will behave.and thankfully, she did.

we stopped first at blaubeuren, and went to the blauberen abbey:

interesting detail

nicest candy store ever

takam!/yummy!

this place has the most interesting body of water i've ever seen.the colors are amazing!

may sirena pa na bantay/there's even a mermaud guarding the place

it was also in blaubeuren where we went to watch germany vs. argentina, where the germans scored 4-0.so just imagine the fanfare that followed.there was also a wedding reception in the hotel beside the bar.there was a stupid git who thought it was cool to use his mercedes-benz as an exhaust.poor baby had to inhale all this smoke, and mr t totally lost his cool.he started screaming at the guy.people got upset, and in the end the git apologized.

we then went to bad urach and stayed in a quaint hotel.we just drove by, and picked up the most convenient place to stay in.bad urach is known for its spa and therapeutic bath.

ah, movie set, hello?

view from our room

the next day, we drove off to the place i was excited to see schwarzwald, otherwise known as the black forest, called as such 'cos of the density of the area.

where ya wanna go?

ladies and gentlemen, may i present the authentic, original black forest cake! sinfully delicious!

we were so stuffed, but we had to move on.we then headed to karlsruhe to meet mr t's former boss.

this is their pretty garden.

so that's it folks.thank you germany road trip.thank you baby for behaving.

by the way, i still have another germany road trip to share.that time it was from munich to denmark.(denmark!)one of the most delightful road (well, sea, as well) trips ever.

31 Photos in 31 Days: Day 13

It's Friday the 13th!

Anyhoo, since it's Ramadan we could not really have our usual friday breakfast brunches since restaurants and cafes are closed during the day.you can order takeaways, though.mr t bought bread, croissants and pastries at paul's.so we had a very european breakfast.but take note of the lady's choice ham spread! haha.ang sarap kaya nito.i can devour sky flakes biscuits with lady's choice as my palaman.

we took baby to the pool today.it was her first time to try the pool.like our beach outing last weekend, baby was ambivalent.kebs ba.we did not stay long, though 'cos the water was not as warm as the seawater.i put her in a cute swimsuit from mamas and papas, but it was not enough to keep her warm.pa-cute and sexy effect pa kasi si baby, eh.

and another milestone - she can already sit on her own for a few minutes! soon, she can play on her own sitting down.she's growing up so fast! we also fed her with chicken for the first time.mr t mixed it with tomatoes and milk.baby (bless her!) properly chewed and swallowed the meat.
