things i'm grateful for: together in germany part 2

so this is a continuation of our trip in germany.aside from fixing stuff, doing errands, eating out a lot, and meeting with friends, we were also able to go out of munich and visit these pretty places.

bad tolz in bavaria.if i remember correctly, they're famous for their hockey team.i love its medieval feel!

we couldn't resist the cuteness of the salt and pepper cow duo (bottom).we just had to get them! so now they're sitting on our dining table.

garmisch:

this was my second time in garmisch, a resort town in bavaria.the first time was in july last year.we went to see l, mr t's friend.

because we were not able to chat properly with l (she was working in her trendy,family-owned shop),we all met up again at starnberg after two days. it was a trendy place, with a pretty lake.it's also the wealthiest town in germany.

pardon me if i'm running out of adjectives to describe places.haha! it's really pretty everywhere! as i keep on telling mr t everytime we are somewhere in europe "everything looks like it's in a movie set!"

ok, i'll digress: my first ever european country to visit was france back in 2007.i went to paris and aix-en-provence for a week. and trust me, i will post about that.

so back to deutschland.

pretty starnberg lake

up next...road trip from munich to karlsruhe!
